Diffractive Optical Element

A diffractive optical element (DOE) is an optical component with a nano-structured surface.
It can control the optical path by means of diffraction. When a DOE is placed in front of a light beam, it deflects the light to a certain angle, converges or diverges with desired focal length, reshapes the light beam into a pattern according to structure design.

JLab is able to design and produce diffractive optical elements which have optical characteristics as what customer wants. Our DOE has as high diffraction efficiency as analogue optical elements due to its 256 multi-level nano-structures.
